Coping with Depression

Depression is one of the most common mental illnesses, especially this year with the pandemic. It has been quite a struggle and no one knows what is happening next or how much longer this will last. The unknown future is creating a lot of anxiety, tension and angst which are all interlinked with depression. We are told to just stay positive, pray and hope for the best until it passes, which is true to an extent. However, crossing our fingers is NOT a coping mechanism, it’s a mindset shift that helps us hold on to the fact that a brighter future is coming. If you are battling depression and you cannot currently afford therapy, then this is for you. There are various approaches to coping with depression holistically.

Here are a few approaches that you can try and continue to do what resonates the most.

Social & Mental Approach

This is the social and mental aspect which we have some control over. Our feelings are products of our thoughts, so the first step here to take is to identify any irrational thoughts. Make sure to catch every thought, and ask yourself “does this really align me with where I want to be?” If the answer is no, ask yourself what is a more productive perspective to look at this. By monitoring your thoughts, you have a handle on a huge part of your healing. Your emotions are always valid, so allow yourself to open up, which takes us to the next point. Reach out to someone you trust and know that you can be yourself with, it could be a colleague, a neighbor, an acquaintance, a friend or family member. There is nothing wrong with asking for support and leaning on someone. Even though our happiness is our responsibility, we are still allowed to let someone hold our hands through this journey. Most importantly, set boundaries for yourself. If it feels too overwhelming to be around too many people, then limit the number of people you hangout with and choose the ones you are willing to let in.

The Personal Approach

This is where you stay in touch with your emotions and become your own best friend. Start your day with the Ho’oponopono prayer, which is a Hawaian Prayer for self-compassion and forgiveness. Give yourself the forgiveness, love and kindness you are seeking from the world by repeating this mantra “I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.” You can place a hand on your heart and close your eyes as you repeat this. Daily mindfulness and meditation really helps ground you and centres you, so make it a habit to meditate 2-3 times a day if you’re dealing with such painful and hopeless emotions. The next thing you want to do is set daily goals to work towards, things to look forward to that are actually healthy for your mind, body and soul. You can make an hour or two out of your day working on a hobby, some time for self-care and reading a book. These are all things that give you a reason to wake up and it reconnects you with yourself. Create a new routine for yourself to implement all of these, and watch yourself blossom and glow!

Overall Health

Physical health and mental health go hand in hand. Our emotional well-being can impact our intake of food, our energy levels and the number of hours we sleep. Physical health conditions, such as hormone imbalance can make us easily agitated and stressed. Therefore, it is important to nurture our bodies the right way. Nutrition, sleep and exercise can drastically change our lives. Start by consuming nourishing foods that are rich in antioxidants, minerals and vitamins, and start cutting down on alcohol, sugar and carbohydrates. Our bodies need all nutrients in specific amounts and that depends on your BMI, BMR, gender, age and many more. Speak to a nutritionist if you can to create a new plan or look into the tips that are given here. Add to your diet some serotonin boosting foods such as nuts, seeds, leafy greens, bananas, tofu, lentils and beans. If you’re a meat-eater, eggs, salmon and turkey are great serotonin boosting foods. Next, create an exercise plan that you would enjoy (going for a walk, swimming, yoga, cardio, etc…), as physical exercise can reduce depression by 26%. Lastly, you have to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night. The best way to do this is by specifying a specific time to head to bed and wake up. Therefore, you start to train your brain to be ready for sleep at a specific hour.

Let us know which of these of these tips have been helpful. Have a great day because you absolutely deserve it.

Holiday Vibes: How to Ground Your Energy During The Holidays

“ROCK BOTTOM BECAME THE SOLID FOUNDATION IN WHICH I REBUILT MY LIFE.” – J.K. ROWLING

The holiday season is a blessing to many, and a curse to others. It is the time of the year that we all look forward to spending it with our loved ones that we miss. This year has had its ups and a lot of its downs, so this time of the year is difficult for many knowing they cannot celebrate it with specific people while coping with the pandemic. On the contrary, as advanced manifestors we are aware that energy flows where attention goes. The more we focus on something the more it replicates. Our subconscious mind doesn’t judge positive from negative, it just records everything we speak, think and feel. How can we protect our energies this time of the year without neglecting our feelings?

It is absolutely crucial to protect your energy. While there are circumstances and people that seem unavoidable, there is always a level of control that we possess. We can always decide how we respond to things in our lives in a healthy manner no matter how dire things seem. Start your day by meditating for at least 15 minutes to ground yourself and get your mindset ready for the rest of the day. Meditating allows you to bring yourself back to the present when your mind is drifting to different places, people, concerns and worries. While it might not solve your issues or heal your broken heart, it increases your vibration. Next, create a relaxing environment which helps to elevate your energy levels. Place candles, use a scent and declutter your house. Decluttering radiates a sense of inner peace and comfort. This all helps to reduce stress levels and keeps you in a more relaxed mindframe. Throughout the day, tunnel vision on you and on any triggers that pop up so you can immediately tackle them before they duplicate. Mental diet is a lifestyle not a quick fix, so stay on top of your thoughts and feelings.

Plan your day to get a clear navigation and a sense of direction on where you’re going. If you’re missing someone during this holiday, then ask a trusted person for support to spend the day with you, to look after you and to also occupy your day. As you do that, set boundaries with others to have some time for self-reflection and to spend less time with negative people in your household. If you’re spending the holidays with family members that bring you down, set a limit on the amount of time you’re spending with them. Speaking of negativity, free up some time of your day to release the negative energy through exercise and journaling. It allows you to process your emotions and detox your body. Your physical and mental health go hand in hand, so make sure you nurture yourself in mind, body and spirit. Lastly, self-talk is the core of your mindset. The way you feel about yourself is a reflection of your inner conversations that you have with and about yourself. Make sure you start treating yourself the way you would treat a friend. Shower yourself with so much love, compassion and patience. You absolutely deserve it!

How to Manifest Happiness

To manifest happiness, you have to change your focus and at the same time, make sure you’re not neglecting your feelings. Acknowledge how you feel and ask yourself how you would advise a kid to express their feelings in a healthy manner.

Follow these steps and make some shifts in your life!

Write in your journal…

Set a 15-minute alarm to journal just to get things out of your system.

Set an intention before you begin journaling to purge these feelings while staying on top of your mental diet.

After these 15-minutes are up, let go of the past and stay focused.

Practice Gratitude…

You stay focused by practicing gratitude and resilience for the rest of the day. Take into account the things you are grateful for, whether it’s a walk in the park or for having a cup of coffee.

Listen to your inner thoughts…

Throughout the rest of the day you have to listen to your thoughts and monitor your emotions. It seems easier to give in when it gets tough, but the results are always unfavorable down the line. Make sure you refocus and keep your day full as much as you can to change your state.

Do this daily. It takes at least 21 days (although we like to say 28) to form a habit.

Not sure if you can do it on your own? We recommend listening to our audio, Law Of Attraction Manifesting Magnetism. Try it for 7 days for free!

Manifest While You Sleep

Can You Manifest While You Sleep?

According to science, 92% of our lives are created by the subconscious. Our manifestations are a result of our deep rooted beliefs. When we focus on fixing the outside world we are using only 8% of the brain capacity in our conscious mind. What this means in that, instead of focusing on outer evidence, the changes need to happen inside of you. This is the reason why a lot of us struggle to achieve our desired outcomes!

We are too focused on consciously trying to control what happens in our lives! While things like goals and action steps help you stay focused, your subconscious mind also needs reprogramming to empower your life!

Our actions, behaviors and thoughts are based on our subconscious beliefs. This is because the neurons communicate with each other to create a behavior, this is known as brain waves. Brain waves change depending on our emotions and the actions we’re taking throughout the day.

There are 5 different brain waves…

Beta (14-40 Hz): Engaged enough to take part in cognitive tasks
Alpha (7.5-14Hz): Meditative, relaxed state
Theta (3-7.5 Hz): Meditating or sleeping
Gamma (>40 Hz): High capacity of elevated consciousness
Delta (0.5-3 Hz): Deep sleep

Our conscious mind is active during our waking lives, while our subconscious is always alert. Our subconscious mind records everything that happens throughout the day and during our sleep. Scientists have proved to us using EEG that our brain is most receptive during our sleep because that’s when the conscious mind is asleep. Therefore, you are NOT blocking your affirmations on a conscious level. The frequency of the meditation makes your mind even more attuned to it. Our minds are so powerful that it allows us to induce a self-hypnosis as we fall asleep. That’s all it needs to manifest.

One of the easiest ways that you can reprogram your mind during sleep for manifestation is to listen to our Miracle Manifestation Sleep Program. Try it out using our FREE Miracle Hypnosis Online trial.

How to Change Your Appearance Through Manifestation

Have you ever ran into someone that you haven’t seen in a while and thought to yourself… “Wow! They look great! I wonder what they’ve been doing?” It’s not always just about a diet or exercise. First and foremost, it’s about their mindset.

Ever had a friend who eats tons of food and never gains weight? It’s because of their self-image. They hold a strong belief that they have a super fast metabolism!

Here are some tips for changing your appearance:

Tip #1 – Be certain that it will happen by affirming it.

The Universe has unlimited power and it can literally give you anything that you desire. So don’t sell yourself short and allow yourself to trust the Universe without the fear of disappointment.

Tip #2 – Get Specific: If you want to change your eye color, be specific on the color you desire and the exact shade.

If you struggle with visualizing, search for role models. Maybe a friend with that eye color, a model or a celebrity. This also applies to changes in weight, whether you’re looking to lose or gain weight, be specific on the dress size, weight on the scale and how you fit in clothes.

Tip #3 – Practice Creative Visualization

Whether or not you’re visual, you can still practice. You can either see yourself in first person wearing an outfit or taking a selfie; or you can see yourself in third person being in that body that you desire. If you want to boost it further, visualize your loved ones telling you how dashing you look!

Tip #4 – Name it and Claim it

It’s already yours! It exists in an alternate reality, so remind yourself every single day that you already have it because you already have everything that you desire. It is YOURS! Say it out loud: This is MINE! I am/I have X,Y,Z.

Tip #5 – Gratitude Journal

If you want to change your body, start thanking it and giving it love. The more love you give your body the more you receive from it. Your legs have taken you to places, countries, cities, and many more! Your eyes gave you the ability to see the beautiful scenery, the people that you love, and the animals that you find absolutely adorable! The moment you do this, you will start to feel a weight being lifted off your shoulders and your body will thank you!

Tip #6 – Act as if

Ask yourself now, if you had the body that you desire, what thoughts would you think and how would you act? Would you think about how beautiful you look in every outfit? (Spoiler alert: You do!) Would you take more pictures of yourself? Would you feel more comfortable and confident? Go deep and as much as you can, be specific then apply these to your daily life – Act as if!

Tip #7 – Practice Shamanic Tapping

Shamanic tapping is similar to EFT using meridian points on the body. The difference is that it’s also psychological, you tap on your energy point and affirm what you desire. Do this method for 28 days, it will change your life.

Do I Deserve Love?

Human beings tend to go on a spiral when it comes to insecurities which manifest into doubts and fears. Everyone has insecurities, it is normal for human beings, however, it can be detrimental if not controlled.

There are a lot of reasons why we question whether we deserve love. As listed on Huffington Post, a lot of it stems from painful past experiences. Whoever you are, wherever you and whatever happened to you, know that there is only ONE of you and that is your power.

In your reality, there is only you. Everyone else is your mirror. They are attracted to you by your thoughts and you are the person that is in control of your reality. That’s how much power you hold!

Everyone in your reality is energy that matches your energy and that’s what they vibrate on. The moment you raise your love vibration, the people in your life respond to that energy.

Put yourself on a pedestal by operating from a state of ‘having.’ Build your self-confidence. Start allowing yourself to feel that you are worthy. Appreciate your inner and outer beauty, your strengths and qualities.

The moment you do that, you begin to attract that special someone that lives up to YOUR standards.

Tell yourself that YOU ARE magnetic and desirable. The moment you do that, you place that trust in yourself and the Universe.

If your having a hard time consciously training yourself to think this way, we have a few audios that will help:

Tips for Dealing With Loneliness

All of us feel lonely at one time or another and for many, these feelings can become more pronounced around the holiday season or as Valentine’s Day approaches.

In this blog post, we’re going to define what loneliness is, name its root cause and share ways that can help you whenever you’re feeling lonely.

What is Loneliness?

Loneliness is both mental and emotional. It is the feeling of being alone or socially isolated from others. Loneliness is a natural reaction for a person to feel whenever their need to belong is not being met.

If you’re feeling lonely, you are not alone. According to a 2018 survey on loneliness that included more than 20,000 American adults, almost half the number of people surveyed reported that they sometimes or always feel alone. The researchers who conducted the survey called these levels “epidemic.”

Several other studies have linked loneliness and depression with poorer health and wellbeing. It has been connected to a number of health issues, including diabetes and heart disease, and can diminish the overall quality of a person’s life.

What Causes Loneliness?

Loneliness is a normal reaction to feeling disconnected from others, either physically, emotionally or both.

Humans are spiritual beings and everything in this universe is connected. And so it is both natural and normal for a person to experience loneliness when they’re not feeling a sense of connection or belonging.

What Can I Do if I’m Feeling Lonely?

  • Be mindful and pay attention to your thoughts.

Loneliness is a state of mind; it is a feeling and not a fact. Try to notice your thoughts about loneliness as they pass and remember that you don’t have to believe every thought you think. You are bigger than your thoughts and you always have the ability to choose the thoughts that define you.

  • Remember that loneliness is a shared experience.

People all over the world and all throughout human history have felt lonely at different times in their lives. It is even possible to feel lonely while surrounded by other people or when you’re in a romantic relationship.

  • Make a plan to change the mental and emotional habits of loneliness.

Spend some time with your thoughts and reflect upon past circumstances that have evoked feelings of loneliness in your life previously. It’s possible you may realize you are dealing with an emotional habit. Once you can recognize this, you can make a plan to deal with loneliness.

  • Find ways to connect, even if your loneliness makes that feel impossible.

Doing this can feel like the hardest thing in the world when you are in a lonely state. But you may find yourself surprised by how receptive your family and friends are if you tell them honestly, “I’ve been feeling lonely. Want to meet-up for a coffee?” Sharing your truth is one of the best ways to reignite old connections or connect deeper with those who are already in your life.

  • Seek your people.

It is now easier than ever before to find and meet new people who enjoy the same things as you. Whether you’re into knitting or kayaking, there are tools that can help you get together with other people who share in those interests. Having a common interest is a natural basis for beginning a friendship.

  • Join a class.

Not only can this provide a sense of belonging that comes with being part of a group, it can stimulate creativity and give you something to look forward to during the day.

  • Volunteer your time.

Spending time supporting a cause that you believe in can provide the same benefits as taking a class while also bringing the benefits of altruism. Volunteering to work with others who have less can also help you feel a deeper sense of gratitude for what you already have in your own life.

  • Always show up.

If you display a genuine interest in others, they will be attracted to you because you are giving them attention. This, in turn, will often mean you will receive attention as well.

Expressing curiosity about others also gives us a chance to focus our attention away from our own feelings and towards the making of a genuine connection instead.

  • Be persistent.

Not every group you meet or class you try will be an immediate home run. Organizations like Alcoholics Anonymous recommend that everyone try six different groups to find one that suits you best. Even if a particular group seems to be a dead end for you, try another.

  • Learn the difference between loneliness and diagnosable depression.

Sometimes loneliness is just loneliness but sometimes it can lead to depression or is a symptom of depression. According to experts, loneliness is a specific reaction to feeling isolated or alone, whereas depression is a broader feeling that permeates all aspects of your life. If you discover that you no longer enjoy the things you used to enjoy, you may be experiencing depression.

It goes without saying that if you are dealing with loneliness that is part of general depression, anxiety or any other mental health issue, you should seek treatment from a licensed psychologist.

But also know that loneliness is a good enough reason to seek help. Loneliness is a feeling that can bring you down and make life difficult to navigate. Talking through your loneliness and having someone help you come up with an action plan for dealing with it, are great steps toward your overall happiness and a greater sense of well-being.

  • Reprogram your mind through hypnosis and meditation.

Learning to practice mindful meditation and listening to hypnosis audios are both great tools for increasing your awareness of the thoughts that cross your mind and learning to change or let them go when needed. We recommend listening to our hypnosis audio Abundance, Love & Healing.

Also, if you’re a woman who is feeling lonely in your relationship, we also have the Improve Your Marriage hypnosis audio.

We all feel lonely at times; it is both normal and natural.

But we all also deserve to feel better — to feel connected, cared for, purposeful and loved. It is essential then, that we each take the time to understand ourselves, our thoughts and our feelings and then to spend the time to take inspired actions that can improve our overall well being. This is the work that makes this life journey feel meaningful and worthwhile.

How Do You Change Your Mindset to Lose Weight?

tips on how to lose weight post thumbnail miracle hypnosis online

We all know that ways to lose weight include clean eating, exercise and consistency.

Why doesn’t anyone ever talk about the subconscious?

If we don’t like exercise or have limiting beliefs that we can achieve the weight that we desire, “The voice of self-doubt and insecurity can be loud, persistent, discouraging and even destructive to our efforts.” As said by Sean G. Connolly, PhD on the Obesity Action Community Website.

According to public speaker Brian Tracy, “the function of your subconscious mind is to store and retrieve data.” Its job is to ensure that you respond exactly the way you are programmed. If you would like to build a weight loss mindset, you’ll need to do more than just work out or change your diet.

Here are some tips for what we believe the winning formula to be for weight loss:

1) Drink Water

The best result to lose weight while drinking water is taking in about 17oz of water a day. This amount causes the body to burn calories for at least an hour. It’s also strategic to drink water before a meal when the goal is to lose weight. Drinking water before a meal prevents overeating and reduces appetite. Drinking water also prevents dehydration.

2) Movement and Exercise

There are many benefits of movement/exercise besides weight loss. Not only are you losing weight, you are changing your brain chemicals and regaining body strength. Movement and exercise reduces stress levels and help you maintain a healthy body weight.

3) Alter Your Eating Habits and Integrate Veggies

Sometimes we, ourselves are not aware of the habits we create that may have affected our body health. These unhealthy habits have consequences. Some unhealthy habits include: overeating without being aware of it, choosing sugar as opposed to veggies, and eating too quickly. Creating a healthy eating habit of slowing down and processing what you take in as food will build the habits that results in weight loss, not only that; a better lifestyle.

4) Eat Clean and Avoid Processed Foods

It is important to understand how processed food is made and how it can affect what we want to eat. During the journey of weight loss, avoiding processed food from fast food chains is best due to its added sugars, fats and high calories. It also creates addictive-like eating. It’s made to make you crave more of it. Processed food is not good for you and will not help with your weight loss, so avoid it.

5) Re-Program Your Subconscious

Your subconscious controls 92% or more of your actions. What this means is that for some of us, we are not in control of our eating habits! We try going on a diet, then we stop being on the diet before we see results. We know sugar and processed foods are bad for us, but we can’t stop. We were told that we were fat all of our lives and we can’t shake that belief! Ways to re-write your subconscious include visualizations, writing affirmations and listening to subliminal or hypnosis audios.

6) Thoughts / Mindset

Your thoughts and mindset are probably the most important part of helping you during your weight loss journey, because you are your own motivator to succeeding this goal. Keeping a positive and realistic perspective will keep you on track and moving forward. Believe in yourself!
